Manuela Burló Moreno

Manuela Burló Moreno (born Cieza, 1978) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. She has a long career in the world of short films, with six works that accumulate more than a hundred awards around the world, one of them even shortlisted for the Oscars . Her last short film, PIPAS , won the best script and best direction awards at the Notodofilmfest and was nominated for best short film at the 28th edition of the Goya Awards.

In 2015 she made the leap to the feature film by the production company Nostromo Pictures, which commissioned him to direct the comedy How to Survive a Farewell . Starring Natalia de Molina , Úrsula Corberó , Brays Efe , Celia de Molina and María Hervás , the film was coproduced by Atresmedia and distributed by DeaPlaneta.

In 2016 she released his second feature film entitled Rumbos , with a personal script.
